Restorative Deep Rest - A Yoga Nidra Workshop

Restorative Deep Rest Workshop

  • A 2-Hour Yoga Nidra Workshop

I invite you to join me for this tranquil 2-hour workshop where we'll practice mindfulness, movement and Yoga Nidra – learning methods to consciously weave rest into our everyday life.

To open the workshop, I will share the foundation learnings of what Yoga Nidra is, explaining what this guided meditation practice is, how it works, and the many benefits it can offer. We will then take a reflective pause with journaling, giving space to explore what “rest” means to you, personally.

I will then guide a gentle movement practice designed to release physical tension and create ease, followed by pranayama (breathwork) to help settle the nervous system, preparing your energetic body for stillness.

The session will then move into a fully guided 45-min Yoga Nidra practice that will bring together the learnings from the workshop and allow you to experience a deeply connected and grounding rest.

In this 2 hour workshop, there will be:
• An introduction to the practice of Yoga Nidra
• Gentle yoga movement and guided Pranayama to connect body, breath and mind
• Journaling as a technique of reflection, self-awareness and inner connection
A fully guided 45 min Yoga Nidra practise

This workshop is open to all levels – whether you’re brand new to yoga/meditation or have been practicing for years, you’ll leave with a deepened understanding of the benefits and value we can gain through rest.

Expect to leave this experience with:
• Reduced stress, improved sleep potential, and replenished energy
• A renewed curiosity for self reflection and contemplation

Come with an open heart as we uncover the deep layers of restorative rest and Yoga Nidra.
